Our featured speaker Nuno Fonseca, PhD. explained the existing immersive formats, their differences and similarities, and their future potential applications.

Nuno Fonseca
Nuno Fonseca, founder/CEO at Sound Particles, (PhD) is a former university professor, author of 2 books and more than 20 papers on audio research topics. He is a member of AES Technical Committee on Audio for Cinema, and member of multiple sound related associations, including CAS, MPSE, AMPS, AES, SMPTE, GANG. Nuno is the creator of Sound Particles software, a 3D CGI-like audio software used in all major Hollywood studios, in productions such as Game of Thrones, StarWars, Frozen 2, Ready Player One, Dune.
