Eric Toline | Sound Mixer
Sound mixer Eric Toline passed away in October at the age of 83. His career of over 65 years began in music recording studios in NYC before transitioning to the world of sound for picture. Eric ran Professional Sound Services out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and was a nurturing presence in the Southeast sound community. A mentor to many, he is remembered as one of the first old school sound mixers to take the time to, as mixer Scott Beatty put it, “teach me a thing, or two, or ten.” This summer, the Skeleton Crew Podcast posted an interview with Eric where he discussed his life and career.
