Production Sound Mixer, Tron: Legacy
Michael moved to British Columbia from Montreal Quebec in 1974, to study film and television at the University of British Columbia. After completing his degree, he worked as the Film Technician in the Theatre Department for 6 years where he met many of the peers he would work with in the industry. In 1985, Michael started a freelance career doing commercials, documentaries, and short dramas until he joined IATSE 891 in 1992. Over 30 years of working in the film industry, Michael has had the privilege to work with many of the finest directors including Zack Snyder, Brad Bird, Roland Emmerich, Philip Borsos and of course, Joseph Kosinski the director of “Tron Legacy”. His best memories are of the sound crew members he was fortunate enough to work with: Don Brown, Charlie O’Shea, Juniper Watters, Ian Ferguson, and Jason Johnston, among many many others. They stood together in rain, sleet, snow, cold, heat and intolerably long shooting days. Michael is proud of the films he worked on and the people he worked with. He is currently retired, but these remain fond memories to look back on.

Boom Operator, Tron: Legacy
Don is a Boom Operator in the sound department working in the motion picture industry. After completing film studies at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1978, he began working at Sound West Film Studio. At Sound West, Don gained the skills necessary for motion picture post-production. Moving into the field, he began recording location sound on documentaries, commercials and the odd low-budget drama. Don relocated to Vancouver, BC in 1984 to expand his cinematic horizon. He became a member of IATSE Local 891 in 1987. It has been a pleasure and a privilege for Don to have been involved in motion picture production ever since. The true reward of his endeavours has been all the great people he has met and collaborated with along the way.

Sound Assistant, Tron: Legacy
Juniper is lead singer in Vancouver glam band CLONE, IATSE sound technician in the Vancouver film industry, and more recently, an independent hair stylist. Juniper also dabbles in producing/directing music videos with her counterpart, Kelly Zombor.
