On Sunday, June 29, 2025, the Cinema Audio Society hosted its much-anticipated 2025 Annual CAS Summer Family Picnic at the picturesque, tree-filled Vasa Park in Agoura Hills, California. Members and their families gathered for a memorable sunny day filled with great food, exciting activities, and camaraderie.
Attendees enjoyed a delicious all-you-can-eat lunch buffet featuring BBQ beef, grilled teriyaki chicken, raspberry vinaigrette slaw, quinoa and sweet potato salad, and much more. A dedicated Hot Dog Grill Station served up both beef and vegetarian options, while the Dessert Area offered snow cones, cotton candy, chocolate chip cookies, and a variety of ice cream novelties.
The fun didn’t stop at the food. Activities were a hit for all ages, with attractions including an Alpine Tube Slide, a Colossal Rollercoaster Obstacle Course, Foot Darts, Inflatable Axe Throwing, and a Water Tag Maze. Multiple inflatable bouncy obstacle courses delighted attendees, while classic lawn games like Jumbo Jenga, cornhole, and ping pong brought out everyone’s competitive spirit. Traditional picnic games such as sack races, team rope-ski races, and water balloon tosses rounded out the day with much laughter and cheer.
