On Sunday, October 5th, the Cinema Audio Society hosted the Vancouver Mixer Party at Joey Burnaby. More than 25 CAS members and guests gathered to enjoy an evening of appetizers, refreshments, great conversation, and a mutual love of the craft.
The private lounge provided an inviting atmosphere for members to connect, network, and enjoy a relaxed evening together all while filling their bellies.
No mixer would be complete without a few door prizes and a raffle—congratulations to Jonathon Ayala Colón, who took home two tickets to the 62nd CAS Awards!
The Vancouver Mixer served as yet another bridge, bringing together professionals from both production sound and post-production audio—an intersection that does not occur often enough. When it does, it offers a valuable opportunity for collaboration and camaraderie.
Gatherings such as these remind us of the passion, creativity, and dedication that CAS members bring to the industry. Not only does it strengthen our bonds it unite our professional community.
