Dear CAS Members,
The Cinema Audio Society announces a call for nominations for the 10th Annual Technical Achievement Award. In its tenth year, the Technical Achievement Award produces two awards, one for production and one for postproduction sound innovations.
Active members in good standing and manufacturers are being asked to nominate products that have been released within the previous two years only [January 2012 to December 2013]. Software releases that have made substantial updates to previous versions within the last two years are also eligible for nomination.
The winners of the Ninth Annual Tech Awards were Sound Devices “664 Field Production Mixer with Recorder” and Dolby “Atmos”.
The two winners of the 2013 CAS Technical Achievement Award will be announced during the sealed-envelope ceremony February 22, 2014 at the 50th Annual Cinema Audio Society Awards in the Crystal Ballroom of the Los Angeles Millennium Biltmore Hotel.
Deadline for submission is Monday, January 06, 2014
