CAS partners with EIPMA to create Careers in Audio 2021

On March 20th at 11 am PST, Cinema Audio Society participated and co-produced the panel Careers in Audio 2021 with EIPMA. EIPMA is a CAS partner and provides expert guidance to young people seeking meaningful and productive careers in the entertainment industry. Hundreds of attendees from all over the world logged in to participate.

The Careers in Audio panel sought to introduce many of the audio industry’s career options to aspiring professionals. Experts gave general descriptions of their positions and what is needed to pursue these very viable fields as well as answered specific questions from the viewers.

Discussed were the fields of:

• Production Mixing
• Sound Supervision/Sound Design
• Scoring Mixing
• Re-recording Mixing
• Live Sound Mixing
• Mastering Engineer
• Technical/Manufacturing
